Philosopher, expert in Gender Studies, and Historian of Religions specialized in the cultures of mainland Southeast Asia, where I conducted field research for many years.
In the past, I have taught at Hanoi University in Vietnam, the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’, the ‘Urbaniana’ University, Venice International University, and the Global Governance degree program at Tor Vergata University. I have also worked for international governmental and non-governmental organizations (Oxfam, MCNV, etc.) and collaborated with the A.T. BECK Institute in Rome as a trainer and consultant.
My work focuses on intercultural philosophy, gender issues from a decolonial and transcultural perspective. I teach Gender Studies at John Cabot University in Rome and coordinate the modules “Intercultura” and “Forza” in the Master’s in Gender Studies and Policies at Roma Tre University. I also collaborate with I.N.D.I.R.E. on projects for the prevention and combat of gender-based violence.
I practice, study, and teach various Asian martial arts, with an approach that combines psycho-physical practices and theoretical research, organizing workshops on Combative Self-Awareness and Feminist Self-Defense.
