Gandolfo G. David (Polizzi G., PA, 1968), is a visual artist and designer. He investigates and elaborates ecological and social issues in a participatory way. Every project is realised through the involvement of local communities by collecting stories and languages of the territories where he works. His research on archetypes and traditions allows him to facilitate deep reconnection between people and their lives, overcoming geographic and linguistic boundaries. In recent years he has created installations and devices that raise public awareness on the right to international mobility and initiate a dialogue between residents and newcomers in the city. He his co-founder of Dimora Oz research group of transvisual, curatorial and performing arts, based in Palermo.
