Francesca Mariano (IT, 1992) is Milan-based dance and sound artist whose practice moves freely between the borders of these disciplines. She trained in postmodern dance with Anna Halprin and integrates landscape, sound, archaeology and feminist sensitivities into her evolving palette of choreography, music production and sound installations. Her practice expands in its educational application and through workshops that have a focus on an interdisciplinary method of somatic research and exploration. She has performed and exhibited in international venues and institutions, including The Peggy Guggenheim Collection , Rewire Festival, Museo Madre, Fondazione Sozzani, Valentino and Club to Club. Her latest album, Eurybia, was released in 2022 with Leaving Records.
