Sushina Lagouje

Sushina Lagouje is a French teacher, anti-ableist activist, and author.

She began by publishing humorous short stories in magazines, followed by two novels. She has explored various genres, including crime fiction, science fiction, and fantasy.

Living with a form of muscular dystrophy, she uses an electric wheelchair. A mother to a young daughter, she wrote her first autobiographical piece, An Ordinary Pregnancy (2025), a personal account of her journey to motherhood, where she shares the challenges she faced in becoming a mother in an ableist society.
