Anikó Orsós
Anikó Orsós is a Roma women’s rights advocate from Hungary, currently serving as Women’s Rights Officer at the European Roma Rights Centre in Budapest. She is the founder of Amrita OBK Association in Pécs, which supports young Roma through access to higher education, language learning, and labour market inclusion. A co-founder of the first informal Roma women’s network in Hungary, Anikó has led numerous community initiatives and international projects focused on the empowerment of Roma women. She has also contributed expert insights to EU-level reports on the impact of COVID-19 on Roma communities and the situation of Roma women in Europe. Proudly Roma and proudly a woman, Anikó continues to fight for equity, dignity, and visibility for Roma voices across Europe.
