Laure Salmona

A feminist activist and expert on gender-based cyberviolence, Laure Salmona co-founded the association Féministes contre le cyberharcèlement in 2016 and currently serves as its director. Through her various forms of engagement, she works to analyse the digital space through the lens of gender and inequality, in order to better combat the power dynamics that unfold there. She has published two books on the topic with Le Cavalier Bleu: Politicising Cyberviolence: An Intersectional Reading of Gender Inequalities Online (2023), and 15 Misconceptions About Cyberviolence and Cyberharassment (2025).
