Maguy Ikulu

Maguy Ikulu is a 32-year-old mother, lawyer, and political scientist, as well as an anti-racist eco-feminist and decolonial activist.

A war refugee and genocide survivor, she and her family had to rebuild their lives from scratch. This experience sparked her early passion for politics, driven by a desire to understand the mechanisms of power and domination and to find ways to create a more just society.

She delivers trainings, courses, and lectures on gender equality, anti-racism, decolonization, intersectionality, and ecology—highlighting the deep interconnections between these issues. As the coordinator for diversity, equity, and inclusion at the largest French-speaking university in Belgium, she also develops strategic plans for social innovation.
