Ni Made Asri Wahyuni
Asri is a European Alternatives intern from Bali, Indonesia. She has just completed her Master’s degree in Politics, Philosophy and Public Affairs at the University of Milan. She has also participated in the Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme at the University of Groningen, focusing on Policy Analysis for Social Sustainability. At European Alternatives, she supports the Project Coordinator with the Transeuropa festival in Paris and the Fierce Transnational Network. Outside of her studies in Milan, Asri was keen on dancing and participated in dance festivals there, such as Artigiano Rho Fiera Cultural Fest, Festa Dei Popoli, and Festival dell’ Oriente. She is also interested in how Bali deals with waste, especially its social and philosophical side, as well as the situation of Indonesian women migrants in Europe. In line with her interests, she is currently involved in the environmental community in Bali and the community of Indonesian migrant women in Europe.
