Transeuropa Festival is a unique transnational festival of culture, arts and politics, taking place in 13 cities all over Europe. It is not 13 different festivals happening at the same time, but one festival taking place throughout the continent.
This edition of the Transeuropa Festival began on 25 April and runs until 10 May, around Europe Day, taking place simultaneously in London, Paris, Bologna, and Cluj-Napoca. Combining a cultural and artistic festival with a political event, it was conceived and organised by European Alternatives in partnership with the Allianz Kulturstiftung, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, the European Parliament, the European Commission, and numerous local organisations in each of the four host cities.
