Festival Party: Reclaiming Airwaves

Join us for this years TRANSEUROPA festival party, Reclaiming Airwaves, at BIOS (where better than from a rooftop venue?).

Prepare for a night of DJ sets with hidden musical gems lost to streaming platforms, sound performances & air-art.

In partnership with Parea Radio, we’re reminded that reclaiming technology can be done with dance & community!

With Mwtchi & Valia b2b Oachlades from Parea Radio, CYBORGUTT 3.0, Justine, and an intervention to reclaim the stars.

22h – 22h30 CYBORGUTT 3.0 by φø (Fotis Rovolis)
The performance “CYBORGUTT 3.0” is the result of an exploration of the connection between queer theory, cyborg bodies and the field of music. By recording the sounds produced by the body with the help of an electronic stethoscope, the composer creates a soundscape that narrates its fluid identity within a system of binary perceptions. Breathing, heartbeats, stomach sounds and brain vibrations provide a rhythmic background, modulated through biosensors, making the process of production and performance transcendental and meditative.
